Angelo Baque‘s Awake NY and Reebok have come together once again, following on from the duo’s Workout Lo and Instapump Fury from 2020 with new takes on the Club C 85 and Classic Leather.

While there is only a very small tease of what’s to come from Awake NY regarding its collaborative Classic Leather, we can tell much more from the Club C 85 seen above. Served in a tonal “Sandtrap” colorway, the pair adopts an overall cream palette and applies faux snakeskin to its leather base.

The snakeskin reworks the Club C 85’s eyestay placket, mid-panel section, and heel tab, the latter of which is finished with blue Awake branding in its usual cursive font. Reebok’s branding appears alongside the Union Jack flag on the mid-panel window, while the tongues feature “Awake NY Classic” and “Reebok Classic” branding on the right and left foot, respectively.

A fuzzy fabric lining, additional blue laces, and an outsole finished in a matching cream tone rounds out the soon-coming sneaker. From what we can see in the image above from Awake NY’s Instagram account, its Classic Leather takes on a similar theme, applying more snakeskin to the vector stripes and the eyestay placket, while letting the heel tab appear in a clean cream tone. Both pairs are assumed to have co-branded insoles, like those seen on the Club C 85.

Take a look at both pairs of the Awake NY x Reebok SS21 collaboration above, and stay tuned for more information surrounding the release of the Classic Leather. The Club C 85 is set to release at stockists such as Sivasdescalzo on March 13 for €120 EUR (approx. $143 USD).
