adidas Originals Looks to Valencia for Archive-Inspired City Series Release
Resurrecting an ’80s classic.
After releases inspired by Barcelona and Madrid, adidas Originals has stayed in Spain for its latest City Series release. This time theming the sneaker around Valencia, adidas has honored the original City Series sneaker from the the 1980s.
Arriving in the same contrasting “Collegiate Navy” and “Halo Blue” upper as the first Valencia-themed sneaker, the design is finished with the City Series customary gold embossed detailing as well as a “Mystery Green” outsole. Other features include a full sole in the same “Halo Blue,” complete with Trefoil grip.
The 2021 Valencia is constructed from an array of premium materials, with full-grain leather used across the upper and suede covering the T-toe area and around the heel.
Take a look at the adidas Originals City Series “Valencia” in the gallery above. The sneaker is due to release on March 18, with raffles now open at select stockists including Goodhood.
