The North Face Recruits Jiro Bevis For “Metro Ex” Collection
The bright colored drop is inspired by nature but built for the city.

In the latest drop for its Spring/Summer 2021 rollout, The North Face unveils an array of outdoor-ready products inspired by the needs of nature but crafted for the everyday avails of the city.
Aptly titled “Metro Ex” the brand enlists graphic artist, Jiro Bevis for custom-made sketches that feature throughout the collection. Adopting his signature playful aesthetic, the graphic prints stay true to the city-theme showcasing intertwining skyscrapers and his trademark cartoon characters.
Not forgetting its outdoor heritage, the collection possesses stretch-nylon fabric along with The North Face’s patented FlashDry technology for quick drying even in the most unpredictable city weather. The inaugural drop includes the classic Lhotse jacket, track jacket and matching pant in a standout yellow and blue combination alongside a sweet lavender cap and bozer crossbody bag. The second drop consisting of women’s exclusive pieces in addition to a wind jacket and Black Box overalls is slated to release in April.
