HUF teamed up with famed New York City artist Eric Haze for the brand’s first artist collaboration of 2021. This marks the second time the two have worked together following the NYC mural installation promoting the Spring/Summer 2019 collection.

This collection translates Haze’s distinct and inimitable style on classic HUF pieces. HUF x HAZE is the latest partnership to utilize the artist’s signature font on a range of apparel items. Fans can expect a selection of streetwear staples including hoodies, tees and headwear adorned with the HAZE trademark print. Each of the pieces utilizes different techniques including flocking, embroideries and screen prints. The collection also includes a skate deck constructed in the HAZE all-over pattern, sure to be unmistakable by fans across the nation.

The most notable part of the collection includes a special tribute to the late Dust La Rock (aka Joshua Prince). Dust La Rock was the co-founder Fool’s Gold Records and a previous HUF designer. The brand commemorates the artist with The Dust La Rock jacket, inspired by HAZE’s archived insulated flight jacket. The jacket is limited to 100 pieces worldwide.

Having made his name on the streets of NYC writing the name “HAZE” back in the early 1970s, Eric Haze quickly gained notoriety for his easily recognizable letterforms. His unique writing style paved the way for the artist to open his own design studio in 1986. Haze later became one of the first graffiti artists who have authentically captured NYC hip-hop and street culture through graphic design.

The HUF x HAZE capsule collection is set to release on Thursday, February 18 at HUF flagship stores nationwide and online at HUF Worldwide.

In case you missed it, HUF SS21 is a nostalgic collection celebrating early 2000s skate culture.
