Salt & Straw Turns 2021's Most Viral Moments Into Ice Cream Flavors
Featuring soylent pudding with black charcoal ice cream, Dalgona honeycomb and more.

Small-batch ice cream company Salt & Straw has created a limited-edition flavor pack inspired by viral moments from 2021. The five limited-edition offerings touch on everything from technology to music.
Inspired by the space race between Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Sir Richard Branson, the first flavor is “Billionaire Boys Space Club.” Dubbed “galaxy’s easiest meal,” this flavor is a soylent pudding with black charcoal ice cream and white chocolate-covered ice cream chunks. Next up is “#FreeBritney,” which celebrates the conservatorship end of pop star Britney Spears. This pink bubble gum ice cream includes edible glitter, in addition to Pepsi and champagne gummy bears.
There’s also a Squid Game-inspired “Calamari Contest” that features Dalgona honeycomb, teal and pink ice cream and bone marrow fudge. The “Non-Fungible-Tropical Tuna Tamales” flavor was inspired by this year’s NFT frenzy and is composed of roasted pineapple compote, prickly pear clear caramel and masa ice cream. Rounding out the pack is the TikTok-inspired “Nature’s Cereal,” which features coconut water sorbet, pomegranate seeds and mixed berry jam.
Priced at $98 USD, Salt & Straw’s limited-edition 2021 Gone Viral pack is available now on the brand’s website.
