Period Correct and Medicom Toy Team Up for a Race-Inspired BE@RBRICK
Utilizing Period Correct’s signature colors, the design is inspired by 1970’s racing liveries.
Period Correct has joined forces with Medicom Toy for a two-piece BE@RBRICK set.
Including the 400% and 100% sizes, the collaboration sees Period Correct’s emphasis on car culture fuse with the renowned cartoon-style collectible. The set features Period Correct’s house livery redesigned as a BE@RBRICK racing suit in jade green, navy blue and white. The bear’s head features a split design color construction that is separated by white racing stripes. Utilizing Period Correct’s signature colors, the design is inspired by 1970’s racing liveries.
“Ever since I was a teen, Bearbrick was always part of my collection,” said Bryan Jay, Period Correct’s founder and creative director. “To design and have our very own version many decades later is a dream. My attraction to objects that bring me back to my childhood will always be special to me.”
