Kerwin Frost and adidas Want You to Serve Yeti Realness This Christmas
Run D.M.C. meets the abominable snowman.
Multi-hyphenate Kerwin Frost isn’t known for subtlety, having previously worked with adidas Originals on a Forum collaboration and a “Superstuffed” Superstar, and now the polymath has revealed his latest work with the Three Stripes: the YTI tracksuit.
Comprising a track top and a pair of tracksuit bottoms, the look is best worn as one cohesive look to provide the full yeti effect. Served up in “Athletic Blue,” the look is made entirely from polyacrylic that’s been covered in faux fur, looking like if the abominable snowman and Run D.M.C. had a baby.
The white and blue hues that decorate this oversized outfit are complimented by Three Stripe and Treofil details in blue, hitting up the legs, arms, and the top’s detachable hood, as well as the chest and waist section, respectively.
Kerwin Frost’s adidas Originals YTI track top retails for £315 GBP (approximately $420 USD), while the bottoms cost £270 GBP (approximately $360 USD). Both can be seen above and bought from the adidas CONFIRMED app on December 23 at 9 a.m. GMT (4 a.m. ET).
