DJ Emerald Lewis Tests Kojey Radical’s Xbox Knowledge for the Latest Gucci Stream Episode
Ahead of the brands’ highly-anticipated collaboration.
Presented by Gucci

Gucci has teamed up with HYPEBEAST for a new digital streaming platform, Gucci Stream. The series explores the corners and subcultures of user-generated videos online created for things that we love, hate, want and need.

As the relationship between high-fashion and gaming advances to new heights, Gucci continues to manifest the connection between its heritage design language and breaking cultural boundaries. This year not only marks the house’s centenary anniversary but also the 20th birthday of Xbox, commemorated with an exclusive partnership exciting luxury and gaming aficionados worldwide.

Starring DJ and presenter Emerald Lewis and genre-bending artist Kojey Radical, the second episode of Gucci Stream, “The Good Game”, sees the pair unpack the latest collaboration between the luxury fashion house and Microsoft’s gaming brand.

As well as his revered musical talent, Kojey Radical is also a lowkey Xbox enthusiast. Emerald Lewis puts his knowledge of the franchise to the test with a series of questions to see if his gaming and Gucci history expertise is up to scratch. “I’ve actually got the OG Xbox sitting in the corner right now,” he declares before showing his very own Master Chief helmet from the Halo games.

“There’s something very therapeutic about Gears of War. You’ve got to be there to understand, it’s one of those things.”

Limited to only 100 units, the console bundle includes a custom Xbox Series X bearing the luxury house’s signature GG-pattern laser engraved onto its body as well as two Xbox Wireless Controllers.

These are housed within a hard case inspired by its vintage luggage pieces featuring the renowned beige GG canvas with gold hardware and yellow leather trim. The Xbox lettering on the lid consists of the brand’s recognizable green hue which also covers the compartmentalized interior of the case as well as the campaign’s slogan “GOOD GAME” in yellow.

Much like the unique collaboration, this episode in partnership with HYPEBEAST sees the dynamic personalities explore the console bundle in Gucci’s distinct style. Adorned in the double-G motifs and neutral hues, the retro setting of “The Good Game” pays homage to the luxury house’s rich heritage.

Check out the latest Gucci Stream episode above. The Xbox by Gucci Series X console bundle will be available to purchase from November 17 on the brand’s website as well as from select retailers globally.
