Big Sean took to Twitter to reflect on the brotherhood he had with G.O.O.D. Music, as well as dropped a new track entitled “What A Life” produced by Hit-Boy.

The song comes after Big Sean fired off a series of Tweets prior to the release, reflecting on his career and the life he now has because of music. In the string of tweets, Big Sean revealed that he misses “the brotherhood I use to have with GOOD music…It’s all love, but we use to really be clique’d up.” While he seemed to have been pouring out a string of thoughts, it also seemed as if he made a realization then that he wanted to release new music.

After announcing he would release a new track on October 22, he continued to take to Twitter to let fans know that he is now locked in. Big Sean’s last album, Detroit 2 arrived in September 2020 and he had yet to say anything regarding a follow-up album. Now it appears that fans might be able to look forward to a whole new project from the Detroit rapper. The accompanying visuals for “What a Life” are also expected to drop soon. Take a listen to the track above or below.
