Nike ACG's GORE-TEX-Equipped Air Nasu Appears in "Laser Orange" and "Clay Green"

After beefing up its latest slate of footwear offerings with the new ACG Mountain Fly Low, Nike‘s Nike ACG sub-label has brought back its GORE-TEX equipped ACG Air Nasau in two fresh colorways. Arriving in a bold “Laser Orange” and a more understated “Clay Green,” the rugged hiking sneaker boasts a sturdy build and impeccable traction — features that are ideal for combatting winter’s inclement conditions during hikes and walks alike.

Both pairs feature a synthetic ripstop upper, lined with GORE-TEX to keep the elements out and overlaid with fused seams. The “Laser Orange” places its signature detailing atop a black base, and the “Clay Green” adorns a mixture of slate gray, black and flat yellow with its eponymous hue. Though the lateral side keeps its branding somewhat minimal by using a small Swoosh under the collar and a regular-sized GORE-TEX logo on the toebox, the medial side ramps things up considerably with a large GORE-TEX hit of its own and an extensive text graphic atop one of the seams.

More sizable ACG branding is provided by a tongue graphic and a signature triangular heel badge. Down below, sharply-shaped midsoles borrowed from Nike Running‘s Pegasus Trail 2 feature speckled print — on the “Laser Orange,” this piece is yellow with black, on “Clay Green” it’s gray with black. Rubber outsoles with a beefy lugged traction pattern provide exemplary grip to complete each look.

The Nike ACG Air Nasu “Laser Orange” and “Clay Green” will both release on the Nike webstore and at retailers like Asphalt Gold on February 11. Each is priced at $140 USD.
