Louis Vuitton to Open Sneakers "Hall of Fame" Pop-Up Store in Paris
Kicking off a series of events leading to its Fall 2021 show.

Louis Vuitton has revealed plans for a series of events taking place across Paris in the build-up to its Fall 2021 show on January 21 during Paris Fashion Week. The run of menswear events — titled “Louis Vuitton: Walk in the Park” — kicks off with the opening of a temporary store on January 8, which will feature reissued and new sneakers, jewelry and sunglasses.
The pop-up store, located at 28 Quai de la Mégisseri, will allow visitors to purchase sneakers from a “Hall of Fame” made up of the five rarest LV Trainers that have been launched since Virgil Abloh‘s first collection for the house. Additionally, the location will feature other footwear including the LV Trainer Upcycling in five colorways — one of which is exclusive to Paris — while the new LV Ollie sneaker will be displayed in six color options.
As well as the various Louis Vuitton sneakers, the pop-up store will also stock a range of the chainlink jewelry Abloh has been known for at the brand. This will include necklaces, bracelets and rings in an exclusive Paris design, alongside a restock of items from previous collections and 12 unique pieces for exhibition only. Past editions of the 1.1 Millionaire sunglasses — Virgil Abloh’s reinterpretation of the Pharrell Williams and Nigo-designed frame — will also be on sale at the location.
The second event begins on January 18 at the Louis Vuitton flagship on Place Vendôme. Visitors to the store can interact with the “Zoooom with friends” characters debuted by the house in July. The animated characters will appear through the Louis Vuitton app, taking over the facade of the building. Announcing the project in a statement to WWD the brand said, “By enabling his audience to interact with the house mascots, Louis Vuitton strengthens the diverse community spirit that exists around its men’s wear universe and encourages the public to take part in the ongoing dialogue between Virgil Abloh and his audience,” the brand said in a statement.”
In case you missed it, Virgil Abloh also recently sat down with Pharrell for the OTHERtone podcast.
