On-Foot Shots of the adidas YEEZY BOOST 380 "Alien Blue Reflective"
‘Ye’s latest features bold printed graphics and shimmering reflective embellishments.
Rumors, speculation and gossip may be swirling around Kanye West in the early days of 2021, but if there’s one thing that ‘Ye’s showed a remarkable, unshakable consistency for since first rolling out his YEEZY line with adidas in 2015 it’s releasing new footwear models — and one of his latest is the YEEZY BOOST 380 “Alien Blue Reflective.” A souped-up take on the YEEZY BOOST 380 “Alien Blue,” this reflective iteration adds hi-vis material into an already compelling mix of winter-y shades, making for a bold and cold look.
Composed entirely of Primeknit and awash in camo-esque patterns, the uppers mix soft cream and wolf gray tones. Slashed through the lateral midfoot is a signature post-dyed monofilament side stripe, done up in icy yellow-green. This entire assemblage is interpolated with hi-vis reflective silver thread and secured with tan oval laces.
Down below, the sharply-shaped midsoles feature a two-tone blue pattern that’s seemingly equal parts winter camo and melting ice. This rubber shell surrounds a full-length BOOST cushioning setup, visible through the translucent herringbone outsole for a finishing touch of tech.
The adidas YEEZY BOOST 380 “Alien Blue Reflective” is set to release later this year, and will likely be priced at $250 USD — in line with other reflective 380 models.
