11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi and Salomon Advanced have reunited for a set of vibrantly dyed Bamba 2 and Boot 2 GTX. The two labels have been collaborating since 2017, and the new project offers the latest footwear technologies.
Both silhouettes are object-dyed — each pair ends up with a unique pattern — for a colorway called “Patina Blue.” The Bamba 2 comes with a sleek design built with semi-translucent uppers. It features taped water-proof zippers that can protect the interiors from weathering. “11” branding is stamped along the tongue, while light-blue, green and lime-colored panels near the forefoot round off the shoe’s bold design. The Boot 2 GTX’s design is much more maximal compared to the aforementioned silhouette. It sports slightly faded suede panels for a textured aesthetic and comes with perforations throughout the body for added breathability. Completing the boot’s design are details like thickly padded collars, extra heel support and pronounced treading along the outsole, while other nuances like faint smudge marks around the sole have been added to give off a look that feels a little worn-in.
The 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi x Salomon Advanced Bamba 2 High and Boot 2 GTX “Patina Blue” will be available on January 11, 12 p.m. EST on Project Greenhouse’s website for $495 USD and $490 USD, respectively.
