UFC Releases Trailer for Latest 'Fightlore' Episode "Slice of Life - The Legend of Kimbo Slice"
Chronicling the life and influence of the late backyard brawler turned professional MMA fighter.
For its latest Fightlore installment, the UFC looked at the true story of the late backyard brawler turned professional MMA fighter, Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson. Currently in its first season, the UFC FIGHT PASS Original series expresses untold stories from all across the mixed martial arts promotion company in a documentary manner.
Titled “Slice of Life – The Legend of Kimbo Slice,” Season 1-Episode 4 chronicles how Kimbo rose to superstardom as The King of the Web Brawlers that captivated fight fans. Outlining his professional debut through EliteXC, the spotlight reveals what put him on track to participate in The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights and join the UFC before his untimely death due to heart failure. The episode also notes Kimbo’s influence on the sport and how he helped give UFC Welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal his start in the combat sports world.
