Tokyo’s Taito Station Fuchu Kururu Set World Record for Most Crane Games in One Arcade
Officially recognized by the Guinness World Record association.

Continuing to be a place of amazement and wonder, Japan now has the world record for the most crane games in one arcade. Taito Station‘s Fuchu Kururu branch recently opened with 454 crane game machines which was enough to be officially recognized by the Guinness World Record association for having the “most claw game machines at a single venue.” Differing from most arcades found in Japan, Taito Station Fuchu Kururu is purely dedicated to crane games or “UFO catchers” as they are often called in Japan.
The grand opening of the new Taito Station location builds on Japan’s obsession with the game of skill that is ubiquitous around the nation. Unlike the crane machines found in North America, Japan’s cabinets are usually filled with licensed goods from popular anime, video games, and character merchandise lines.
