Swiss Haute horology brand Richard Mille continues to push the limits of luxury watchmaking with its latest concoction, the RM 72-01 Lifestyle In-House Chronograph. The extravagant timepiece embraces the watchmaker’s superior expertise to formulate an intricate masterpiece that leaves a permanent impression. Richard Mille enlisted the help of choreographer Benjamin Millepied and composer Thomas Roussel to launch the innovative watch, collaborating artistically on the campaign film WITHIN.

The creative duo drew connections between the accelerations and repetitive motions of clocks and the natural rhythms of dance and music, Richard Mille has adopted this notion of time to create a hybrid watch where art meets technology.

The RM 72-01 is the first watch in the history of Richard Mille to be equipped with a flyback chronograph that is entirely produced in-house with a mechanism patented by the brand. The innovative watch experiments with advanced materials and radical design for its in-house caliber CRMC1 movement, which is made from grade 5 titanium. Skeletonised movement with bidirectional automatic winding featuring hours, minutes, small seconds, date, flyback chronograph, a function indicator and a stop second bring the watch to life.

Head over to Richard Mille’s website to find out more about the collaborative timepiece.
