Reebok‘s Instapump Fury has been many things in its life, appearing as a Maison Margiela-designed tabi as well as the canvas for many outlandish Vetements collaborations, but now the pair has found new life as a Chelsea boot-sneaker hybrid.

Despite its daring nature, the pair is designed in-house by Reebok. At its core, the Chelsea boot is an Instapump Fury, featuring its instantly-recognizable split sole unit and roughly the same kind of shape we know to expect from the shoe. However, the pair now comes with a slightly higher-cut finish, and is paired with gore webbing on the lateral and medial sides to give it the Chelsea boot look.

There is a heel tab at the rear to help you slip on the pair with ease, while leather and nubuck materials have been used to further channel the luxurious and sophisticated nature of wearing a Chelsea boot. The toe features an interesting wavy, overlayed panel construction which is a riff off the toe boxes found on the original sneaker, while the only piece of branding added to the hybrid shoe is a tonal debossed Vector logo on the lower half of the lateral side, rounding out the sneaker’s design.

Reebok has dropped the Instapump Fury Chelsea boot in triple black, “Cool Shadow/Cold Grey 2/Reebok Rubber Gum-02,” and “Utility Beige/Alabaster/Black.” All three pairs of these women’s sneaker-boots go up to a U.S. 11 on Reebok’s website, where they retail for $110 USD a pair. The triple black version can also be bought on Rakuten.
