The Eric Andre Show returns for its fifth season via Adult Swim on October 25. Host Eric Andre and co-host Hannibal Buress have been hinting at the upcoming season throughout their social media accounts and now, according to Pitchfork reports, a number of musicians will appear throughout the 10-episode run later this year.

Anderson .Paak, Grimes, Joey Bada$$, Toro Y Moi, Lil Yachty, Big Freedia, Machine Gun Kelly and Taco of Odd Future and Lil Dicky’s FX series Dave will all participate. Joey Bada$$ is set to play a character named Joey Fata$$, Grimes will star in a short titled Grimes and Punishment, and Lil Yachty will be the latest celebrity to partake in the popular Rapper Warrior Ninja.

“To get ready for it, I waxed my entire body, got over 200 pounds, and slept in a tanning bed,” Andre said back in November 2019 when the show was initially renewed for the fifth season. Recent Instagram posts have since verified that he may have done all three of those things. He also announced a spin-off show based on his popular Rapper Warrior Ninja sketch via streaming platform Quibi.

Stay tuned for more details. Earlier this year, Hannibal Buress released his new single “Judge Judy” before performing his latest stand-up special Miami Nights.
