Columbia Gives Its Take on the Technical Hiking Sneaker
The Facet 45 OutDry is both lightweight and waterproof.
Columbia has just released a new piece of footwear that deviates from its classic hiking shoe. The Facet 45 OutDry combines both the speed and weight of a running shoe but adds all the additional utility of an outdoor-ready boot.
Best worn on the trails, the Facet 45 OutDry features an armor-like upper with welded overlays fixed to a ballistic textile upper; the foot is protected against hard objects yet remains flexible and mobile. Other features include an HGS stability system, OutDry waterproof construction, a Kinetic Lacing System, a FluidFrame Techlite midfoot, and an aggressive outsole made from Omni-Grip rubber.
Those looking to try a pair out for their next outdoor adventure can head over to Columbia where it retails for $150 USD.
