First introduced during its Fall/Winter 2020 Paris runway show back in March, Balenciaga now offers a closer look at its “Soccer” sneakers ahead of its release later this month.

Crafted from technical, leather-free materials, these Balenciaga Soccer sneakers are based on classic on-field boots, although have been reworked for everyday wear. Intricate top-stitching and an elasticized tongue houses the front of the sneaker, while round-spiked polyurethane soles are a nod to the traditional soccer boot.

Arriving in monochromatic colors like black, white and fluorescents, each sneaker is completed with contrasting branding on the foldable tongue.

Balenciaga Soccer will be available in selected stores worldwide and on Balenciaga.com from September 24, retailing at £495 (approximately $660 USD).

In recent news, Balenciaga has also paid homage to soccer with this $780 jersey.
