A Ma Maniére's F&F Nike Air Force 1 "Hand Wash Cold" Is Limited To 989 Pairs
If you’re not in the A Ma Maniére inner circle, you have a chance at securing a pair by proving that you — and your friends — are registered to vote.
After crafting two of 2019’s most premium takes on Nike Sportswear‘s iconic Air Force 1 with its “Hand Wash Cold” collaborations, A Ma Maniére is back with a new friends and family edition of the luxurious sneaker. Although excellent quality and luxurious design are still the driving Forces here — pun intended — there’s a socially conscious aspect to AMM’s latest Nike shoes: those who aren’t in the store’s inner circle will have the chance to win a pair by proving that they — and their friends — are registered to vote.

From a design standpoint, the shoe retains the double layered, thickly-trimmed mudguards, Swooshes and heel pieces of its aforementioned 2019 predecessors, but diverges in both material and color. Save for leather on the sockliner and select pieces of trim, the top half is built entirely of supple suede and dressed in black — save for the tongue, which looks to a shaggier cut of suede and equips a light gray color for contrast.
Eyelets and lace deubres both feature chromed-out iridescent detailing plus A Ma Maniére’s A logo, and each pair is individually numbered from 1-989 by a tag pinned to the medial Swoosh. One more AMM logo hits the lateral rear, “Hand Wash Cold” embellishments are debossed on the heel and a black midsole/outsole combo rounds off the look.
A Ma Maniére’s friends and family Nike Air Force 1 “Hand Wash Cold” will not see a full retail release, but interested parties who are registered to vote can enter to win a pair by following the instructions in the Instagram post above.
