The tragic loss of Pop Smoke earlier this year won’t be forgotten. The rising Brooklyn rapper’s estate, manager and collaborators have made sure of it through his posthumous release Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon and the subsequent deluxe version. Today his music video for his R&B inspired slow jam “Mood Swings” has released featuring fellow New York artist Lil Tjay.

Neither rapper appears in the music video — instead it stars Jordyn Woods alongside Dylan and Dakota Gonzalez as the three soak up the sun poolside in an envious display of how to hang out during the coronavirus quarantines. The song has caught a second wind thanks to a viral moment on TikTok and has since been certified platinum with over 1.5 billion streams in the United States alone.

Pop Smoke’s manager has also continued to advocate for the fallen rapper, discussing a potential Dior collaboration and tapping a number of brands to create capsule collections surrounding his album. As for the ongoing investigation into Pop Smoke’s murder, four have been charged with the defendants aged between 15 and 19 years old.
