Mizuno Prepares Two Bold New Sky Medal Colorways
The classic runner is set to arrive in “Vapor Blue/Spicy Orange” and “Black/Fiery Coral.”

After serving as the centerpiece of collaborations with Patta and Carefree, Mizuno‘s Sky Medal is back with two fresh in-line colorways. Dubbed “Vapor Blue/Spicy Orange” and “Black/Fiery Coral,” each style takes the classic ’90s silhouette that was originally made for Mizuno athletes to wear on podiums and spruces it up for the modern day with vibrant accents and clever details.
“Vapor Blue/Spicy Orange” uses a minimal base palette of white mesh and tan suede, then brings color on and around the collar with orange and navy details. On the other end of the spectrum “Black/Fiery Coral” goes full black on its base and flips the collar colors with a rich sport blue surrounded by bright pops of orange.
Each shoe’s midsole is the inverse of its upper — dark on the “Vapor Blue/Spicy Orange,” light on the “Black/Fiery Coral” — and offers more orange towards the rear. For a finishing touch, both boast embroidered Mizuno branding on tongues and heels, plus a low-key translucent Runbird logo on the quarter panels.
The Mizuno Sky Medal “Vapor Blue/Spicy Orange” and “Black/Fiery Coral” are both set to release at retailers like Footpatrol on August 22, and are each priced at £115 GBP (approximately $152 USD).
