Homecoming 2020 Focuses on Nigerian Brands Within Its Community
Returning for 2020 in its new digital format.

Lagos-based Homecoming Festival returns on August 27 in its new digital format, this time in partnership with London-based retailer Browns Fashion.
Focusing on education and elevating rising creatives, this year one of the focal points is to help Nigerian brands within the Homecoming community to access international retail distribution.
As a part of the partnership, Browns will stock Nigerian and international Homecoming-aligned brands on its website, as well as taking up residence in the retailer’s Browns East Shoreditch, London, store.
Heron Preston, Mowalola, Off-White, Denim Tears, and Patta will have products featured, alongside the likes of 3.Paradis, Casablanca, Orange Culture and more.
Stand-out pieces include Patta’s collaborative Muay Thai shorts, Denim Tears’ logo and graphic T-shirt and Off-White’s ‘I Support Young Black Businesses’ T-shirt.
Two live panel discussions will also be taking place. The first on August 27, 6pm BST, entitled ‘Pushing the African Visual Identity Discourse Forward’, the second at the same time on August 28, entitled ‘Can Africa Regenerate Streetwear’.
Both panels are available for sign up for now via Eventbrite, with the exclusive collections available via the Browns webstore. You can view the full Homecoming line-up here.
