COVERCHORD Relishes in "Tatami Leisure" for Summer 2020 Editorial

COVERCHORD has delivered its Summer 2020 editorial. Dubbed “Tatami Leisure,” the imagery highlights an eclectic mix of loose, breezy summertime layers for cozy stay-at-home lounging. Featured brands include YSTRDY’s TMRRW, COMOLI, AURALEE, Maison Margiela, NEEDLES and TEATORA, to name a few.
NEEDLES’ checkered tracksuit and Maison Margiela’s two-toned knit sweater are but a few noteworthy garments in the assemblage. The former comes with a light brown pattern complemented with subtle red accents and the label’s purple butterfly logo. Pieces like YSTRDY’s TMRRW’s cream-colored flannel and AURALEE’s khakis emphasize an affinity for soft fabrics and relaxed cuts, while other highlights like TEATORA’s weatherized jacket rounds off the lineup of warm-weather goods. Beyond the curated apparel, the editorial also spotlights an assembly of rustic Japanese homewares: masterfully crafted plates by potter Mahito Kudo, vases by Naoki Kanazawa, a ceramic bottle by Futoshi Yamashita and even a paper fan by Kurikawa Shoten.
