CLOT FW20 Explores the Juxtapositions of "Corporate Climbing"

Edison Chen and Kevin Poon‘s CLOT has debuted its FW20 collection. Dubbed “Corporate Climbing,” CLOT’s latest offering aims to explore both the positive and negative connotations of a career-focused lifestyle and the juxtapositions these connotations bring. Presented by way of a cheeky lookbook that takes the “Corporate Climbing” name quite literally, the collection is made up of cozy wardrobe staples with highly ironic graphics, and also features a lush rug made in collaboration with Gallery 1950.

Everything from tees to hoodies, sweatpants and shaggy fleece zip-ups are present in the extensive offering. Signature graphics include “Zen Like a Mofo,” nodding to an aggressive pursuit of perceived tranquility that often accompanies overworking and “Work Sweet Work,” playfully chiding individuals who let their office become their home. Various animal prints and camouflage patterns are present on pants and outerwear as well.

Aside from apparel, the collection’s collaborative rug with Gallery 1950 offers a striking piece of home embellishment. Spanning 710 millimeters (almost 28 inches), the circular, made-in-Japan rug presents CLOT’s signature logo in black and red. The price is set at $180 USD.

The first drop from CLOT’s FW20 “Corporate Climbing” collection is available now via the JUICE webstore. Bi-weekly drops are set to follow over the course of the season.
