BTS is officially the first all-South Korean group to land atop the Billboard Hot 100 as their track “Dynamite” opens at No. 1 this week.

The single from J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Suga and V is the group’s fourth top 10 effort following “On” from March 2020, “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey from April 2019 and “Fake Love” from June 2018. “Dynamite” sold 300,000 units and 33.9 million U.S. streams in its first week, with its 265,000 downloads sold also marks the biggest digital sales week since Taylor Swift‘s “Look What You Made Me Do” in September 2017.

Over at the Billboard 200, Nas enters at No. 5 as King’s Disease opens with 47,000 equivalent album units — the highest chart debut of the week. Of that number, 28,000 is credited to streaming equivalent album units (36.17 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs), 18,000 to album sales and 1,000 to track equivalent album units. This gives the hip-hop icon his 14th top 10 album following The Lost Tapes 2 in 2019.

Elsewhere in music, listen to Megan Thee Stallion reference her altercation with Tory Lanez in her new freestyle.
