NBA star Ben Simmons has now joined FaZe Clan under his new moniker FaZe Simmo.

The news may not come as a surprise to both fans of the basketball star or the Esports and lifestyle group, as the Philadelphia 76ers player has previously been spotted donning FaZe apparel as well as hanging out with other Clan members. Earlier this year, he also appeared on the cover of Slam magazine with FaZe member Temperrr. Simmons will be joining a long list of celebrity investors in the organization, including fellow NBA players Meyers Leonard and Jamal Murray, artists Offset and Pitbull, and professional skateboarder Nyjah Huston. “Gaming is an important part of my life, and so it was a natural progression to personally invest in this industry,” the NBA player said in a statement. “FaZe Clan represents the pinnacle of the gaming culture, and I am really looking forward to connecting with new fans around the globe.”

The details of his investment were not disclosed.

Elsewhere in the gaming world, new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War leaks suggest it will be a direct sequel to the original Black Ops.
