Swedish retailer Weekday and skate brand Santa Cruz have teamed up for a Spring/Summer 2020 collaboration, celebrating the lifestyle and art of California.
Santa Cruz has been a significant figure in the world of skating since its inception 40 years ago, and has long been considered an innovator in its approach to both skateboarding and visuals.
Using a blend of surf, skate and psychedelic art inspired by the Golden State, this collection effortlessly portrays the laid-back Californian vibe. With t-shirts, shorts, dresses and swimwear — many of which sporting the Santa Cruz “Screaming Hand” graphic — it’s a collection that’s both eye-catching and summer-ready.
“Concrete Grey”, black, purple and sage are dominant throughout, yet it’s the California-centric graphic pieces that really elevate the collection to pay homage to the state’s way of life.
