With E3 canceled this year, many game developers and publishers have elected to host their own standalone events instead, livestreaming them to fans across the world. Among them is Ubisoft, which has just announced its livestreaming schedule along with a pleasant surprise: it’s making Watch Dogs 2 free to download for PC during the show.
The event — titled Ubisoft Forward — is due to take play July 12, with the main show taking place at 12:00 p.m. PDT. The digital conference will provide more information on the company’s upcoming titles, some of which have built immense anticipation, such as Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and Hyper Scape. It’ll also showcase more of Watch Dogs: Legion and include a “few surprises.” For those interested in downloading the PC version of Watch Dogs 2 for free, you’ll simply have to log into your Uplay account during the livestream and download it from the platform.
Aside from the main show, Ubisoft will also be hosting a pre-show from 10:30 a.m. PDT, which touches on news and upcoming content for existing games including Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Trackmania, Just Dance 2020, and more.
To watch the stream, tune in to Ubisoft’s website on July 12.
