Shia LaBeouf Is Ruthless in New David Ayer Film 'The Tax Collector'
Their second piece of work together following 2014’s ‘Fury.’
Shia LaBeouf and filmmaker David Ayer are reuniting once again for the new action thriller, The Tax Collector.
The upcoming film sees LaBeouf as Creeper and Bobby Soto as David, two “tax collectors” for a Los Angeles-based crime lord named Wizard. Their jobs are to pick up Wizard’s profits from the local gangs’ illegal activities, and while they seem to be good at making sure they get their boss’ cut, Wizard’s old rival returns from Mexico and the business transforms into a deadly labyrinth. Creeper and David now have to fight and protect what matters to them the most, but unfortunately for David, it’s his family on the line.
Joining LaBeouf and Soto are George Lopez, Cinthya Carmona, Brian Ortega, Jay Reeves, Lana Parrilla, Elpidia Carrillo and Chelsea Rendon. The Tax Collector is LaBeouf and Ayer’s second film together following the 2014 World War II flick, Fury.
