J Balvin and Tainy Introduce the Soundtrack for 'Sponge on the Run' With "Agua"

Ahead of the official premiere of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, J Balvin and Tainy have introduced the soundtrack of the film with their song “Agua”
Serving as the theme of the upcoming film, the Latin Grammy-winning producer and global superstar came together to add some reggaeton flair to the latest installment in the long-running SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. Utilizing the classic flute sample from the show’s original theme, Tainy and J Balvin create a tropical sonic adventure that parallels the excursion the iconic square sponge and his best friend Patrick Star are set to go on.
Curated by by Tainy and Lex Borrero, the soundtrack is set to feature original songs by Tyga, Swae Lee, Lil Mosey, Weezer, Snoop Dogg, The Flaming Lips, Kenny G, Cyndi Lauper and more. Look for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run film to release digitally in the United States via premium on-demand video services, beginning early 2021, followed by exclusive streaming on CBS All Access, ViacomCBS’ subscription video on demand and live-streaming service.
