Fred Perry has teamed up with Tokyo-based cycling brand narifuri for a four-piece capsule collection that sees the former’s classic polo shirt fused with performance-driven cycling features.

Founded in 2007 with a simple concept of combining fashion and cycling, narifuri – which translates to appearance and behaviour – merges the two to create functional, stylish garments. This collaboration sees the classic Fred Perry polo shirt tweaked into cycling performance wear, with the addition of panelling, zips and mesh detailing.

Arriving in four iterations, each polo shirt has been crafted using quick-dry cotton, while pockets have been added to the rear for easy access, with stepped hems to ensure they’re secured while cycling.

Each piece is signed off with a Laurel Wreath at the chest and a black knock-out bicycle pedal printed on the back.

The full Fred Perry x narifuri collection launches on August 6 via the Fred Perry webstore. You can also sign up to be notified when it drops here.
