David Sims and Richardson Explore Youth Culture in T-Shirt and Broadsheet Newspaper Collab
With artistic direction from Jamie Reid.

Legendary photographer David Sims and counter-culture label Richardson have combined for Spring/Summer 2020, producing a broadsheet newspaper and a T-shirt.
Sims rose to fame in the ’90s thanks to his work that captured the grunge movement, youth culture, anti-heroes, and a rawness within his subjects. Here, he channels that same attitude into this collaboration.
The T-shirt features a photograph shot by Sims at his studio in Camden Town, London. The girl on the T-shirt appears alongside others, including friends of Sims’ son Kip, in a broadsheet publication shot by Sims and art directed by Jamie Reid, who’s most known for the album artwork of the Sex Pistols’ Never Mind The Bullocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols.
For the T-shirt, Richardson overlays its moniker on the front in bold black lettering, and adds dual branding on the rear of the neckline. The rear is also adorned with Kanji letters and Richardson’s logo.
Take a look at the David Sims x Richardson T-shirt and broadsheet photographs above. The collaboration will drop on Richardson’s website on July 16 at 9 a.m. EST.
