To mark the release of Drop 1 from the NIGO x Virgil Abloh LV² collection, we now have detailed styled imagery of the special range.

Borne out of their longstanding camaraderie, Virgil invited NIGO to help him create a one-off line fusing their sensibilities under the guise of Louis Vuitton for his first collaboration for the luxury fashion house. The duo revisited the entire product range of LV from leather goods to ready-to-wear, offering their contemporary spin while honoring iconic codes.

Drop 1 of the standalone collection most notably introduces an interesting mix of Monogram and Damier check patterns. Graphic elements are also incorporated to reference and shatter the boundaries associated with Virgil and NIGO’s streetwear ties.

Keepall, backpacks, crossbody and weekend style bags remain structurally unchanged but also express the aforementioned mix of Louis Vuitton’s Monogram pattern and Damier check. Carrying options all come accented with the “LV Made” Duck, a luxury reinterpretation of NIGO’s signature HUMAN MADE motif. The collector’s item is a coin purse attached to the handles of the LV² bags. Additionally, the “LV Made” Duck is utilized on the Tambour Horizon watch via a special LV2 animation.

Drop 1 of the NIGO x Virgil Abloh Louis Vuitton LV² collection is now available at select locations and on Louis Vuitton’s website.

For more contemporary fashion, ALICE LAWRANCE references its signature caps with its latest New Era collaboration.
