DaBaby and Roddy Ricch Fend off Zombies in New "Rockstar" Music Video
Watch DaBaby show off his acting chops in the Reel Goats-directed visual.
DaBaby returns with a new music video for his mega-hit “Rockstar” featuring Roddy Ricch, an effort that was both written and directed by longtime collaborative partners Reel Goats.
The visual follows the GRAMMY-nominated rapper through a zombie apocalypse as he makes his way through North Carolina forests in search of safety. Roddy joins him for a few scenes including one where the zombies serve as a backing band holding red guitars in blood-splattered white jumpsuits. As is the case with nearly all of Baby’s music videos, his growing acting chops and undeniable charisma are on full display. The original song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, prompting the rapper to tap Roddy Ricch for a remix inspired by the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests.
Earlier this week, DaBaby teamed up with Jack Harlow, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne for Jack’s “WHATS POPPIN” Remix. DaBaby’s surprise quarantine album Blame It on Baby also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 back in late-April.
