atmos and Lacoste Combine Street Culture and Tennis for "Street Tennis" Collection
Shoes, polo shirts, hoodies, tees and even BE@RBRICKs with tennis-inspired materials, details, and logos.

atmos may be a bastion of Japanese street culture while Lacoste is a paradigm of French athletic excellence, but the two wildly divergent entities have linked up in bold fashion for a “Street Tennis” collection. Amalgamating street culture flair and tennis style, the collection is made up of a new take on the Balsa sneaker, fresh versions of Lacoste’s sweatshirts, tees and polos, and even a special iteration of Medicom‘s famous BE@RBRICK.
The centerpiece of the collection is served by the Balsa, a 5/8 cut sneaker that here is dressed in a fuzzy neon green material reminiscent of a tennis ball. Calling to mind strong images of the legendary Alife x Reebok Court Victory Pump from 2006, the shoe also adds a colored set of eyestays that’s likely a nod to the postponed Tokyo Olympic Games. A co-branded tongue tag, classic croc logo on the midfoot and white midsole round off the look.
Hoodies, polos and tees volley back in traditional white and black. Each retains its classic build, but adds an “atmos” text bubble logo above its signature alligator embellishment. Finally, the BE@RBRICK arrives in a 400% and 100% set, with each figure built of a fuzzy neon tennis ball material adjacent to the aforementioned shoes. Both feature translucent windows on their plump stomach — adorned with atmos and BE@RBRICK logos and containing green plastic stars — and come packaged in a special star-equipped box.
The atmos x Lacoste “Street Tennis” collection will release exclusively at atmos on July 3. Prices for the shoes and apparel range from ¥10,000 (approximately $93 USD) to ¥20,000 (approximately $185 USD), while the BE@RBRICK set is priced at ¥13,000 (approximately $120 USD)
