A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Announces Deluxe 'Artist 2.0' Album, Shares New Song "Bleed"
The project arrives this Friday, June 19.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has announced the deluxe version of his third studio album, Artist 2.0. The album, which initially release in February, has been long-anicipated by fans, with Boogie himself issuing an apology to fans last week due to the lengthy wait. Today, he’s finally announced that the deluxe version will arrive this Friday, on Juneteenth (June 19), commemorating the news with a new song and visual titled “Bleed.”
Dipping into the trendy drill sound, “Bleed” sees A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie spitting over a sinister beat laid down by S. Dot and JoeFromYO. His melodious delivery contrasts the hard-hitting backdrop as he raps “Heard they wanna hear me lack’, oh please/They don’t know I’m really ohdee/N*ggas ratting’, eatin’ off cheese/Just free the real until they all free.”
Alongside the track release and project announcement, the Bronx-bred artist has also pledged to donate $100,000 USD worth of tablets and laptops to his former elementary school, PS 126.
