Shoreline Mafia Pillage a Pharmaceutical Lab in Animated "Gangstas & Sippas" Visual
Inspired by ‘The Boondocks.’
Last month, West Coast rap collective Shoreline Mafia tapped DMV’s Q Da Fool for “Gangstas & Sippas,” reinterpreting Too Short’s 2007 classic, “Gangsters & Strippers.” Now the group has returned with a music video for the speaker-knocking single, delivering a Boondocks-inspired visual that lives up to the crew’s brazen-faced style.
Animated by Jarrett Riley, the Ron-Ron and AceTheFace-produced track sees the rap quartet — consisting of Fenix Flexin, OhGeesy, Rob Vicious, and Master Kato — pillaging through a pharmaceutical lab, later taking to a strip club as they sip their newly-acquired sizzurp. Q Da Fool comes in on the track’s latter half, with his animated alter-ego floating in a lean-filled pool and chasing down his opps.
“Gangstas & Sippas” is the first new track from the collective following the release of their Party Pack Vol. 2 EP from last September.
