Round Two co-founder Sean Wotherspoon has taken to his Instagram to tease a new adidas Originals collaboration. Following up multiple sneak peeks at his floral print-equipped adidas Superstar, Wotherspoon’s next adidas sneaker appears to be a model from the ZX line — possibly the ZX8000 — that discards the flower power stylings and light tones of his Superstar in favor of a more earthy palette.

Although the photo is a simple heel shot, it does reveal some notable details. The base is built of rough-hewn textile and dressed in a rich reddish-brown, while a tan, red and green plaid appears around the collar. Below this plaid, a blue “SUPEREARTH” stamp sits underneath an embroidered neon green SW wordmark. Finally, the translucent heel clip holds several long, frayed threads, much like the ones that hang off the side of Wotherspoon’s aforementioned Superstar.

As of now, no release information is available for this collaboration — Wotherspoon’s caption simply states “#2” although his first Trefoil style has yet to release. It’s not just adidas that his fans are anticipating either: Wotherspoon teamed up with atmos and ASICS for a corduroy-coated GEL-LYTE III that was teased at the tail end of 2019 and is still pending a release date.

See the first images of the new shoe above and stay tuned for further release/pricing information as it’s made available. In the meantime, check out Nike‘s sustainable four-shoe Space Hippie line.
