Now in its 14th year running, New Balance‘s highly-versatile 992 silhouette has recently been the subject of two great collaborations, with KITH and WTAPS both tapping Steve Jobs’ favorite sneaker. Now, the sportswear giant is expanding on its summer-friendly colorways, launching a new 992 combining a more reserved upper with a vibrant multi-colored sole.

The top half of the shoe applies a tonal approach to its various textures, dressing its numerous mesh and suede panels in a wide spectrum of gray shades. The spotlight then comes at the midsole and outsole, boasting a more vibrant construction. Running from the toe down to the heel is a color gradient running from red and orange to yellow and purple, casting a theme reminiscent of a sunset. Completing the colorway is a turquoise green outsole.

Retailing for $180 USD, these New Balance 992 will be available in the coming weeks over on the brand’s website.

Elsewhere in footwear, check out Saint Laurent’s Classic Court in a glittery, patriotic colorway.
