Luxury Sportswear Brand Jet Set Drops '80s Inspired Collection for SS20
A range deeply informed by the archive.

Luxury sportswear brand Jet Set has released its new collection for Spring/Summer 2020, integrating pieces from its archive – which heavily utilised bold graphics and prints back in the ’80s and ’90s – with activewear and beachwear made for the contemporary day.
The brand, having put heavy emphasis on considered manufacturing, is producing apparel that has sustainability sitting at the forefront of its brand ideology. Key standout pieces from the SS20 range include a nylon track pant and track jacket donning the Star Monogram print, a coach jacket based on an authentic style from the archive, a woven windbreaker sweatshirt featuring Jet Set’s “Animal Camou” print and many more.
“Blue System”, originally the diffusion denim brand of Jet Set, is also being rebooted. For SS20, Blue System acts as an important extension to the Jet Set line, delivering premium, Italian-made denim apparel for those looking for innovative fits and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Atop of this, the brand has recently launched its interpretation of the global #stayhome campaign, flipping it to better suit their jet setting origins by dubbing it the #finallyhome campaign. The campaign seeks to define the feelings that are associated with our ‘home’, helping discern that it is not only a physical place but also an emotion that is heavily layered. To bring the campaign to life, Jet Set has profiled a range of people who have spent their lives in various places and can, in turn, help describe what ‘home’ feels like best. Austrian footballer David Alaba is one of the individuals featured in the campaign, giving readers an insight into being #finallyhome with his family in Munich.
