Influential skateboarder and Fucking Awesome head honcho Jason Dill recently made a guest appearance on The Nine Club, during which he teased two new FA x adidas Skateboarding collaborations. Around 26:40, Dill holds the shoes up to the screen and says they’ll “hopefully” come out one day, while hosts Chris Roberts, Roger Bagley and Kelly Hart audibly ooh and ahh in the background.

Although Dill does not provide any specific details on his latest releases, he does provide a detailed look at both designs — which he dubs “Experiment #1” and “Experiment #2.” “Experiment #1” is dressed in white, blue and black, and seems like a cross between adidas OriginalsLXCON and Ozweego thanks to details like plastic tubing running around the laces and a large fabric Three Stripes graphic. There’s also a special Fucking Awesome mountain logo present on the tongue.

Meanwhile, “Experiment #2” is much more colorful and chunky, done up in neon green with bright red accents, a beefy build and a flag-shaped tongue badge. Dill is clearly very fond of both styles, referring to “Experiment #1” as “the best motherf*****g shoes I’ve ever made.” This statement later leads one of the hosts to quip “HYPEBEAST is going nuts right now.”

Apart from debuting the shoes, Dill talks about his time with Vans — saying that he loved the people and respected the company’s classic silhouettes like the Authentic, but wanted to do “more technical s**t.” He also riffs on Supreme and a plethora of other topics during the nearly 150 minute-long interview, which can be viewed in its entirety above.

Neither a release date nor any information has been revealed about either of these Fucking Awesome adidas, but look for an arrival later this year and stay tuned for more from Dill and other FA/adi team riders like Tyshawn Jones and Na-Kel Smith.

Elsewhere in the world of skateboarding, Palace recently began teasing its Summer 2020 collection.
