Cartier Privé Introduces Limited-to-100 Tank Asymétrique Watch Series
Coming in six iterations.
Cartier Privé is exercising its masterful skils in horology once more with the unveiling of its new Tank Asymétrique watch. The timepiece draws inspiration from one of the maison’s legendary watch designs, introducing an asymmetrical watch that’s a rectangle from one viewpoint and a diamond at another.
The watches are limited to just 100 pieces each and come in six versions, ranging from a sophisticated black and platinum offering to a pair of watches sporting crocodile-debossed leather straps and gold bezels. There is also a collection of three Tank Asymétrique skeleton watches.
Cartier’s Tank Asymétrique skeleton watch elevates the classic design by exposing the interior movement underneath the face. The bare structure of its signature 9623 MC movement fits neatly within the asymmetrical case, and shows all of the inner workings. This iteration comes in three offerings that are each equipped with a crocodile-debossed leather strap, with one bezel offered in platinum, another in red gold, and lastly a standout gem-set platinum version.
Take a look at the Cartier Privé Tank Asymétrique watch series in the gallery above. All six will be available from Cartier Privé maisons in December 2020.
