Supreme Taps Takashi Murakami for Charity Box Logo Tee
To support youth and families facing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Supreme is back with its second drop this week, this time tapping Takashi Murakami for a Charity Box Logo Tee, a special addition on top of its My Bloody Valentine Spring 2020 collection release.
The contemporary artist and skateboarding label team-up features original artwork from Murakami’s iconic flowers and skulls motif as the design for Supreme’s equally iconic Box Logo tee. This timely release is intended for COVID-19 relief, where 100 percent of its proceeds will go to HELP USA, a charity organization that started out as a shelter in Brooklyn, and has since expanded nationwide supporting all youth and families of all backgrounds that are facing homelessness, especially during this pandemic.
The Takashi Murakami x Supreme Charity Box Logo Tee for COVID-19 relief will retail for $60 USD and is available online in the U.S. and Canada only on Friday, April 24.
In other coronavirus relief efforts, donate to the “All In Challenge” for a chance at unique prizes from celebrities, including flying on “Air Drake,” a one-day NBA contract with The Mavericks by Mark Cuban, and a walk-on role in a Scorsese film with Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.
