With the coronavirus pandemic still ongoing, many late night TV shows have been suspended, with some such as Conan O’Brien, John Oliver or Jimmy Kimmel electing to continue recording episodes from their own homes.
Just this week, Kimmel checked in with Pulp Fiction, Star Wars and Marvel actor Samuel L. Jackson in a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, with the guest star reading a spin-off of his previously infamous Go the F*ck to Sleep: the quarantine-friendly Stay the F*ck at Home. “The Rona is spreading, this sh*t is no joke, there’s no time to work or roam,” Jackson reads. “The way you can fight it is simple my friends — just stay the f*ck at home.”
Aside from reading the book to encourage social distancing, the Jackson also discusses cancelling his annual trip to Italy with Magic Johnson, watching Tiger King with his daughter, and the meals he cooks for himself at home. For every episode during the quarantine, Kimmel will also make a donation to a charity of the guest’s choice, which this time round is Feeding America.
