“Funky, funky, funky,” Wilson shared in a press release. “If you can’t dance just clap ya hands and nod to the bars. Shoutout Terrace, seeing him make these from scratch in front of me was wild. We just getting started.”
The EP was entirely produced by Terrace Martin, the Grammy-nominated artist that’s built a reputation surrounding his work alongside Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Herbie Hancock, and more. The EP is said to be built on a “retro backbone,” bringing a contemporary twist to funk and soul-fueled R&B grooves.
