Nike & Neymar Jr. Celebrate "Daring Joy" With New Mercurial Vapor
Referencing the player’s career, previous releases and tattoos.
Nike has revealed the latest player edition boot for Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil’s Neymar Jr., once again returning to the Mercurial Vapor silhouette. Named the Mercurial Vapor Jogo Prismático, the boot is inspired by Neymar himself, with references to his style of play, previous Nike releases and even his tattoos appearing across the boots.
The boot features a white base, with a kaleidoscopic blue, red, orange and yellow pattern running across it. This design references archival Nike Football releases, as well as nods to Neymar himself, including the stars featured on his first ever Mercurial boot from 2017. One of the stand-out features of the boots is the words ousadia (daring) and alegria (joy) printed on the heels, replicating the tattoos Neymar has on his legs.
Additionally, the Mercurial Vapor Jogo Prismático also features an all-new NJR signature logo, with the previous logo incorporated into the boot’s all-over pattern.
