Greater Goods Turns The North Face and Berghaus Garments Into Patchwork Bags
Creating multi-textured, brightly colored totes and crossbody bags.
London-based design initiative Greater Goods has released an extensive collection of tote and crossbody bags that are all made from upcycled vintage materials from The North Face and Berghaus.
The bags are constructed by using various cuts from reclaimed garments from TNF, which are then put together to give the bags a patchwork finish. Some of the materials featured include GORE-TEX, HyVent and ripstop nylon, which appear alongside the garment’s original hardware such as buttons, poppers, toggles and straps.
Elsewhere, Greater Goods implements The North Face’s branded badge onto each piece, and accessorizes some bags such as its crossbody offerings with carabiners. Greater Goods’ patchwork offerings range from $305 USD for the crossbody bags to $405 USD for the totes, and can be purchased exclusively from LN-CC while stocks last.
