Curren$y & Cardo Got Wings Drop 'The Green Tape' EP
A collaborative five-track offering.
Just about a month after dropping his Fendi P collab Smokin’ Potnas, Curren$y returns with a new collaborative joint, this time enlisting Cardo Got Wings for The Green Tape.
Clocking in at just under 15 minutes, the five-track EP sees guest features from Larry June on “As I Proceed” and G Perico and “Run Thru.” Hints of production work inspired by ’90s hip-hop are scattered across the project, providing Spitta with the space to deliver a laidback flow. The Green Tape also hears the pair discussing life under quarantine as they reflect on the unseemly act of hoarding and losing track of the days, along with a reminder to listeners to wash their hands.
